I recently came upon a wonderful 16th Century font, namely the style of the P22 Civilite Caps, an intriguing font with non-connecting faces. Civility has a revived, historical design by standard P22 foundry, based on 16th century sources, with the lineage going back to Robert Granjon in standard France and from early Dutch specimens. Kahn Hake has been given much credibility for the creation of the revised font, from my understanding. It's a bit hard to translate the French language accurately.
Nevertheless, I will be delving into studying this newfound lettering immediately!
